ACT Street Clutch Kit | 2015-2024 VW GTI/Golf R (VW9-HDSS)

So far so good, little loud at idle but it catches well. Not much pressure from stock. Car runs smooth no complaints. Everything in kit except your tran oil

pros- it was the only clutch that was capable of holding up to 500ft-lbs, once boost is build and you give it more throttle it is very responsive, and you do get a bit of pedal increase (it still feels the same as if I were to have the oem clutch but It still helps a lot when your in traffic).

Cons- once this kit installed you do get a loud clatter noise and the reason for this, is the factory flywheel is a dual mass and when you install this kit the mass flywheel is a single and so pretty much your restricting all the springs and etc inside the dual mass flywheel and that is the reasoning for the loud clatter noise but you are getting 500ft-lb and your also saving yourself some weight!!!

So far I've been loving this clutch. It grabs quick and smooth, every shift feels like butter. Pedal feels barely heavier than stock. Only downside is the increased noise, but that was expected.

This looked and felt visibly more durable than my stg 3 BFI clutch. Also this is easily one of the most comfortable and best grabbing clutches I've had. If this clutch passes my longevity test I might have found a new brand for me and one I can reccomend to others.

I love the ACT street Clutch for the MK7 platform. Hold the power for a full stage 2 with bolt on’s. Will be installing an upstaged turbo soon, will see what the clutch can fully hold then. Overall a great clutch for a great price!
