Cusco Brake Master Cylinder Brace | 2015-2021 Subaru WRX/STI (6A1 561 ALHD)

As always MA performance, shipped out very fast and I got the product quickly. When I opened the box the Cusco master cylinder brace definitely felt like a quality product. However, the install was the hard part. If you have larger hands it can get really tight working in that corner. If you have a strut tower brace and FMIC, pulling the tubing for the intercooler and removing the brace are essentially. Definitely having wobble sockets was a must at least for me because the angles got a bit difficult to work with. Also aligning the brace with the brackets and the strut wall was a challenge. Using a bit of tape to hold the bolts to the sockets definitely was a must as well unless you have magnetic sockets. You can get all the bolts into it, you just need the right tools as well as patience. Once the brace was installed, you can immediately feel and see the difference. You feel a firmer pedal because the firewall isn't flexing and you can verify this with someone pressing the brakes while standing there observing. Overall, happy with the product...the install is just the rough part.

New WRX. First mod installed. Could feel the difference instantly after the easy install. Break pedal is solid. Delivered in a timely manner also.

I swapped out my pads for the stop tech sports and the brakes felt squishy because it takes a bit for the pads to get some heat in them so I added this on and it made the brakes feel a ton better

Bought this as it’s cheap and some people have said they noticed a good difference. Shipping was quick and easy. The only issue I have is that the directions are not that great. Of course you can watch anything on YouTube but cars change from year to year. On a 2019 Sti you have fuel lines that run right where you are supposed to put this thing. I only managed to get 4 bolts on. The 5th one is just not possible unless you are underneath the car and some how get your hand all the way up. So far it hasn’t gone anywhere, not that it could. But pedal feel does feel slightly improved. I think this would be great on my wife’s forester.
