MAPerformance Intercooler for 10th Gen Honda Civic 1.5T
The factory Civic 1.5t is an extremely fun platform to mod but when you start to increase the power output by turning up the boost levels, the factory intercooler and blow off valve system starts to show some weaknesses. As boost levels rise, so do air intake temperatures.
To cool off the heat, most turbocharged vehicles utilize a air to air heat exchanger called an intercooler to reduce the amount of heat that is being moved into the engine. Factory intercoolers are designed on a budget and with the intent that they will only have to cool the amount of heat that is generated within the acceptable tolerance range of the OEM boost levels delivered by the factory turbo. Once boost levels are increased past factory levels, the original equipment intercooler is no longer working in it's efficiency range and the air intake temperatures begin to increase.

1.) All MAPerformance in-house fabricated parts include a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the Original Purchaser. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferrable. If the product fails it would need to be determined by MAPerformance that it is due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. The purchaser will be responsible for sending the product back, after contacting MAPerformance and reporting the failure. Further instructions will be provided by MAPerformance.
2.) This does not cover normal wear and tear. Improper use, modification, or abuse voids this warranty. MAPerformance will not be held responsible for additional costs due to the failure of a product (cost of sale, towing, labor, etc.). Warranty claims must be submitted to MAPerformance for review. Products that are factory coated must adhere to the break in process. Only products coated by MAPerformance will be covered. Products will not be covered if wrapped.
3.) MAPerformance “Limited Lifetime” Warranty does not apply to all products. Kits, packages, bundles, or any non fabricated parts and products by MAPerformance are not warrantied. Engines and engine assemblies are not warrantied. Cast components are warrantied for 3 years from purchase date.
Fairly easy to install if you know how to remove bumper covers. The intercooler seems to work well with the other mods.
It got here surprisingly fast, seems to be built really well, it fit, and looks really good. I will probably buy another one for my wife's si as well. So far seems like a great company to deal with, and I will be buying more from them! Thanks
