Torque Solution Cylinder 4 Coolant Mod for Subaru EJ Engines was designed to increase coolant flow to cylinder #4 head area.
The additional coolant flow helps reduce cylinder #4 coolant temps and keeps the temps more uniform with the rest of the cylinders. This helps reduce knock and detonation in cylinder #4, which is known to cause the dreaded EJ ringland failure

Easy install and is a must for any turbo charged Subaru
Easy to install, comes with everything you need. Only real downsides are the logos on the hose comes off easily, and the worm / hose clamps aren't the best, but will definitely get you by.
This is my #1 recommendation mod to new Subaru owners to do to there car keeping it original or modding it! this helps EJ engines so much in the long run! i got mine and it was super easy to do maybe too a hour with removing the tmic and such, also if you get stuck there are tons of videos online. I like this kit because it is a little more affordable and is good quality. when putting fitting into head I recommend using thread tape, and high temp sealant.
