What pump should I choose?
Walbro 255
- Great for 93 Octane applications when running less than 500hp.
- Known here as "Old Reliable", they have the lowest failure rate of any fuel pump we have ever used.
- Perfect for E85 applications on stock turbo, or larger turbos.
Walbro 450
- Simply put, when you need more than the 255 can bring - this pump is for you.
- Works great with 93 octane or E85.
- Stable at high PSI, meaning with a adjustable regulator, you can squeeze all that is possible from a slightly too small set of injectors you need to upgrade!
- Fuel pressure gauge is recommended. Due to this pumps higher flow ratings, signs of restricted or dirty return filters may show with elevated base pressure.

I installed this back in January 2019. Super easy install and the Kozmic kit is high quality. Currently tuned for flex fuel 91/E85, pump has no issues! Highly recommended
This kit seems well thought out. Except for having to cut off the factory supply line to make way for the larger replacement that comes with the kit this kit allows for you to pretty much unbolt and keep your stock pump in tack which is nice if you every wanted to reinstall. My adapter had one minor defect. one of the threaded holes in the adapter had a minor defect but was easily fixed with a tap. Instructions for installation can be found on Kozmic Motorsports website and they are easy to fallow.
Perfect snug fix for the Walbro 525 pump!
Purchase the kit for the 255 walbro and put it in the car with in 30 mins super easy definitely recommend the map fuel pressure regulator as well.
