High Pressure Braided Power Steering Line (OEM Routing)

The IAG Performance power steering line is designed to directly replace the OEM high pressure line that runs between the steering pump and rack. The line is manufactured from flexible stainless steel braided line with a high quality fittings at each end. This flexible line is designed to route in the same manner as the OEM line equipped on the 2002-07 Subaru WRX and 2004-07 STI.

Good quality & fits perfectly.

So far so good

The install was a bit hard to do with basic hand tools but I managed. The line is a solid build with pretty tough materials. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to the connection to the power steering pump. It all connects well but the small engine/belt cover doesnt fit back on after installing the hose.

Terrible

Adapter on the rack side will not seal because it is too deep. Had to sand down about 3 mm to get it to seal correctly. Just buy the oem line. Along with this the rubber gasket does not sit correctly inside of the adapter and will fall over while installing and is ripped to shreds by the hard line. Had to spend a whole day modifying this product for it to even work.

Good product

The hose and hardware itself is very good, however instructions would have been helpful. I did eventually get it figured out, but I was lost for a while. I would recommend this to a friend.
