The PERRIN Firewall Grommet makes cable management for routing wires from the interior to the engine bay simple and protects them from wearing on bare metal.
Allows for an easy pathway to route cables, wires, and hoses between your engine bay and interior. This makes for a more professional and organized installation when installing PERRIN Gauges.
When you install your wires to connect whatever sensors you may have through to your gauges on your dash, you will have to get them through the firewall somehow. Without the PERRIN Firewall Grommet, the wires can rub against sharp metal edges in the firewall, causing them to wear through. Keep solid and clean connections with the PERRIN Firewall Grommet.

Used this grommet to route my harness on a 2004 Forester XT. Fit perfectly, just in a different spot on the firewall. The size is pretty standard.
Easy to install and looks great!
Installed an aftermarket intake for a 2017 STi, when removing the intake sound generator you end up with an open hole in the firewall. This grommet comes solid (no perforations), so it makes a good plug to help maintain a seal between the cabin and the engine bay.
