Constructed from our CNC bent 304 stainless steel and CNC flanges our Honda Civic Type R front pipe features design cues that are all with the customer in mind.
The 2 piece design utilizes a V-Band connection to not only simplify installation but also allows the customer to grow into our future products that will eliminate the factory style 3-bolt connections without having to buy all new products when you continue to modify your car. With the optional MAP Catvack connection, you eliminate the factory 3 bolt flange and keep the system as open as possible, while eliminating any gaskets that could fail.
Our unique CNC flange design is based around factory style connections that allow the use of OEM gaskets and creates the best sealing flange available. The front pipe is TIG welded here at our Cottage Grove, MN facility and comes standard with our reinforced flex section to eliminate wear on the exhaust components, along with all the gaskets and hardware needed for the install!

I picked up the street version of the MAP catback as my 2nd mod to my R after radium catch can being the first and had it with the stock dp and Fp for a few thousand miles then about 8 months ago I ordered Their Downpipe and front pipe so being running their whole system from turbo back for about 8k and love it I think their exhaust is the best sounding one out there it’s for sure in the top 3 but I’d say it’s number 1 for me possibly number 2 if something comes along I think sounds better. And I also really like that they use V bands on all but one connection bout the best you can get besides straight welding it up and you always have the option of buying the straight pipe tip piece without the muffler if you want for track days but I 100% recommend the front pipe and actually the whole MAP system from DP back! Top notch quality and beautiful TIG welds and again the v band connections are a nice feature too.
