When it comes to the EvoX Clutch master cylinder, it's a well-known fact that at some point if you drive your car hard, or upgrade the clutch it will leave you stranded. We have been offering a solution to fix this for years now, but we are always trying to improve our products and make our customer's lives easier.
With our Quick Click master cylinder adapter design we took a page right out of the OEM Mitsubishi playbook. The target was to have a product that installed quickly and easily, utilizing the same style connection we see on the OEM Evo X plastic master. With no cutting, grinding, or drilling needed. If you buy it with the optional OEM Master cylinder this will come fully assembled with the clutch height set, and no adjustments needed. If you choose to assemble one yourself, adjustments are easy and straightforward!
This is a must-have upgrade for Evo X owners if you are installing an upgraded clutch, don't get left stranded! We recommend all Evo X owners who upgrade their clutches run this CMC, despite whether or not you've had your OEM unit replaced with the factory recall.

It’s known in the community that there’s a few steps in this installation that are a huge PITA. First let’s talk about the retaining clip on the ball of the cmc. Simply putting the insert for the pin on the left side of the ball instead of right would make inserting it worlds easier as it would face you while your under the dash, seems like a simple design oversight. Secondly, despite the instructions telling you to install the cmc to your clutch pedal while it’s fully out, If you do that, your clutch pedal won’t go down far enough to trigger the clutch safety switch, was a huge pain getting the whole thing installed to find out i need to adjust the clutch pedal to get it to travel far enough down. Lastly the instructions are laughable, thank goodness there’s a few youtube videos floating around that really demonstrate what this entails. It’s still a great product overall, it’s just plagued with unclear directions and a small poor design decision with the retaining clip. I included a video of the pedal not going down far enough to trigger the safety switch if anyone is curious what i meant.

If you own a Evo X I would recommend you to upgrade your CMC before it fails just like mine did, stop thinking about it, this is a great product worth investing and waiting for it, isn’t hard to swap it yourself with the right tools and a little experience, buy it and save yourself for potential fail and another damaged to your transmission
