Removal of your OEM VW airbox opens up extra space in the engine bay for optional mods such as Intercooler Piping, and the larger high performance Air Filter allows for optimal filtration and long lasting life. Silicone couplers attach the intake piping to the throttle body via the included clamps making this a quick and easy installation

I really love this intake for my Mk6 GTI it fits really well and is easy to understand and install. With my car I needed to still buy a secondary intake filter, I still haven't gotten it but I hope that it fixes my check engine light. Otherwise very great, affordable and easy to understand.
Fit great on my 2012 CC 2.0T. (You will need to buy an SAI breather filter for CBFA engines.) The hidden MAF placement gives it a clean look. I can really hear the turbo and diverter valve now it makes the car so much more fun to drive.
It was super easy to assemble and to put on my mk6 gti I really love it and the way my car is because of it
The intake looks clean in my mk6 gti. It also added a noticeable power increase at top end, and gives the turbo a nice whistle when stepping in the throttle. My only complaint is a check engine light due too the intake sucking in so much air that the maf sensor can not read correctly when it hit lows and peaks. Luckily it only seems to run lean at low levels and rich at peaks
