After listening to countless sound clips of different exhausts, talking with buddies and reading forums I opted for the q300 for my 2010 STi Hatch.
Pleasant deep gurgle at idle, it not overbearing. Rumbles pretty good with a tough drone at a consistent 2k/3k rpms - evens out to a light no drone tone in 5th and 6th so freeway driving is perfect.
The con: shipped with a lose river on port 2. Was fine for a few days then tuned into a horrible buzz rattle that drove me nuts. Opted to take it to a shop and have all 4 tac welded.
So far so good but out a few hundred bucks.
