Ferodo DS2500 pads are for the Mitsubishi Evo X that participates in autocrosses and occasional track days. The DS2500s have 35% less compressibility than competitive products, giving it very good pedal feel and modulation characteristics. The DS2500 has an average friction level of approximately 0.50 which remains constant at any speed, and at any temperature up to 1,000°F. Evos equipped with DS2500s can expect friction levels higher than Axxis Ultimates, but lower than a true racing pad like the Hawk Blue 9012. Because these Ferodo's are such an aggressive compound, you can expect a fair amount of dust, and will require a stop or two to come up to operating temperature, so they may not be ideal for the daily driven Evolution.
