I bought this item in June (2016)
It took longer than expected to be delivered but that okay.
Shipping costs to Romania and customs taxes are huge, but it has nothing to do with the product, so it's okay
What is not okay is the quality and fitment of the parts.
For the start, the pipes are welded out of multiple pieces and some parts have a larger diameter than other although it makes no sense to have a diameter variance.
The items I received had major clearance issues. For example the pipes just before the mufflers sit just 20mm away from the wheel and more critical is the sway bar that during operation would collide with this pipe.
Basically it makes the mounting of the muffler impossible in that position.
In order to fix the problem I had to build from zero the entire assembly of pipes !
I mean out of the whole product (XFO ES-FM16-VMK-CBS) I couldn't use anything but the two mufflers
Sorry MAP & Varex... it makes me think twice before I make a new order.
Mufflers are excellent so I'm giving two stars for that. The sound is awesome with open or closed vale.
My setup has 3" pipes all the way (turbo back) without resonator or catalytic convertor.
When closed , the sound at low an middle RPM is close to OEM setup and it makes long trips comfortable
When the valve is open... it's a beast and it sounds better than anything I've heard so far for the Ecoboost Mustang
I hope Varex will spend more time to redesign this product.
