Downpipe fitment was great, no problems lining up anything. Consider getting a new clamp for the factory catback as mine would not tighten down enough when I tried to reuse it. Have had good luck so far with no engine light using a Vibrant tunable spacer with the large insert installed.
Great downpipe. Build is perfect and everything worked as expected. I got the resonated version for MK7 Golf R and the sound is very mild especially if you have stock catback, it almost sounds stock but has a deeper more aggressive tone. Zero drone, even with valves open (which makes sense since there is 2 resonators in the system now). Id recommend this downpipe with resonator, especially if you plan on doing a catback in the future or already have one. With a catback it will keep the good quality sound, but just enhance the volume and won't be raspy.
Quality downpipe with nice welds. fits perfectly on a 2020 audi a3 without issues. Sounds like stock with resonator. Barely louder than stock. which i like. if your looking for more flow with stock like sound this is it. if you want a little bit louder should look at non resonated.
First of all the quality of this downpipe are amazing. The welds are perfect.
Secondly fitment was snug and flawless. Fits like a glove! OEM DP takes sometime to take out but the MAP DP installs in less than 15min.
Thirdly the exhaust note now is deeper and turbo spool sound is significantly noticeable. NO DRONE inside the cabin.
Very happy with the product and for price base point it definitely surpasses CTS and other price compatible downpipes. I’d purchase this DP again and again. Cheers!
Welds, craftsmanship look great. Fitment was absolutely perfect; flanges and sections lined up perfectly. The catted resonated model I have has zero drone and adds a nice growl to the stock catback, without any harsh rasp. Also, got my shipment in less than 16 hours from order.
