3" V Band Flange and Clamp

Had to order a clamp and flange to match up MAP Exhaust with my 3" 3-Bolt front pipe. While MAP supplies an adapter for a stock 3-Bolt connection, they do not have a Front 3" 3-Bolt adapter available. I ordered a second stock adapter based on the picture for the adapter, only to receive a stock adapter that does not have the 3" section as pictured. I planned on cutting off the narrowing to stock, and rewelding in a full 3" and 3-Bolt flange (see picture). I would suggest that MAP develop a 3" 3-Bolt Adapter. I also suggest if you are using a different 3rd party front pipe not to get a MAP Exhaust. Unless you have access to stainless tube cutters and argon welding, you are going to pay almost as much for building the 12" 30 degree adapter as you spent on the exhaust. Caution, most exhaust businesses do not cut or weld stainless, and you will need to contact a race car builder or another industry like milk pumphouse builders to work the stainless. They often request 3D imaging files and jigs. I built my own jig and had a race car builder weld up the adapter at significant costs.

Great product

Ordered a pair of vband assemblies to weld into my downpipe, midpipe and axleback. They were well packaged, quality flanges and they welded up great.
