Fit and Finish

I've installed this on my '17 BRZ, making sure everything was on fully it still seemed like it was close to the serpentine belt, I ordered a different companies version due to this. When I received the other companies version the fit was "better" by giving some more distances to the serpentine belt. I didn't like that one due to how the throttle response was when the car warmed up and the inlet tube soaked in that heat. So I took off about 1 inch of the Perrin inlet tube from the factory airbox side. Once I took this off and placed the Perrin in place it seemed to fit better by giving me more that about an 1/8th inch from the serpentine. Now I can fit my index finger between the two while the engine is running even (based on visual estimate of the belt deflection).
