Killer Turbo Inlet Pipe

Killer B has released another gem from the hive, this time in the form of a cast turbo inlet pipe. This is a game changing unit as it doesn’t require intake manifold removal to install! Additionally the unit is constructed out of cast aluminum and should last a life time while also out flowing it’s silicon counter parts by a substantial margin.I would recommend this product to anyone seeking to increase power or dress up the engine bay on there ej powered Subaru! Additionally MAPerformance is working miracles shipping these to your door in record time. I had mine in 3 days!

Looks like it’s well constructed. Gave it four stars because of the 2 plastic fittings. Also, I think they should of made a Blow by Sensor fitting so everything connects back on like OEM. Maybe a Killer B badge on the silicone coupler.

I love the fact that this is super rigid. That being said it was a bit of a battle on the install. As far as manifold goes I’m lucky in the sense that I went aftermarket AN for my fuel lines so that wasn’t an issue for me. Moving the P/S pump gave me a straight shot right into the turbo inlet once the old one was removed. That was where the ease of install kind of ended….. The silicone doesn’t bend as easily past the TGV housing since I have a larger turbo installed. Had to modify the coupler a bit but used a brand new sharp razor and the cuts were super clean. Aside from the battle with the coupler install was pretty easy. I suggest swapping out the plastic fittings with brass for a more solid install and connection. I do wish the inside casting was a bit smoother but all in all I’m super happy with the purchase!!

For 300 bucks it was really nice, wish the casting was a little smoother inside. Equipment to connect hoses and such for boost controller are really cheap plastic.

I love the look of this inlet in my 07 STI engine bay. I hear the turbo spool more aswell. Typically people want the silicone inlet for obvious reasons being the price is cheaper. The install of silicone inlets is alot easier too. I thought I'd go big or go home and get a quality part. I will say the install was less than pleasing. Not having aftermarket fuel rails made the install painful. I had to remove my intake manifold and my expansion tank. Install was rough but end product was worth it.
