2015+ WRX 3.0" Turbo Inlet Hose by Perrin Performance

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose for 2015-2018 WRX remedies OEM vacuum leak by using a CNC billet flange (and OEM O-ring) and a large silicone hose to connect the turbo to your intake system. This eliminates the potential for vacuum leaks while increasing performance.

The OEM Subaru turbo inlet hose is smaller than the inlet of the turbo, causing an unnecessary restriction for the turbo's intake. The CNC machined flange of the PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose has a built-in velocity stack that perfectly matches the turbo's inlet, allowing for smoother and unrestricted air flow to the turbo. The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose has a 3.0" internal diameter compared to 2.6" found in the OEM part. This allows for a greater amount of air to smoothly enter your engine with virtually no restriction. This larger diameter will easily support all bolt on modifications and increased boost levels.

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is perfectly smooth on the inside. The OEM turbo inlet has sharp bends, corrugated ribbing, and strange pockets, all of which disturb airflow. The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is much smoother, with more gradual bends toward the turbo making for less restriction leading to increased horsepower and improved acceleration. Not only does the PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose provide superior airflow from your intake for increased power and throttle response, it will look great doing so. The clean and smooth look of the hose will help to clean up your engine bay.

The PERRIN Turbo Inlet Hose is reinforced with a stainless steel support wire that is embedded within the silicone layers. The support adds rigidity to the hose and prevents collapses when used with restrictive filter elements and high horsepower setups.

Sub Par Part , lacks mounting holes for Boost control solenoid or Perrins own EBCS Pro

Installed per manufacturers instructions , fit was ok at best. Center "reinforced" area around perrin logo easy to collapse and flex .
I am not mounting a boost controller onto a C clamp... its tacky , unreliable , and shoddy installation work all around.
My aftermarket intake has an odd angle to it and easily collapsed the center of the hose.
No mounting position for Perrin ECBS Pro or OEM boost control solenoid besides aforementioned C clamps.
All in all i do not want a weak point disrupting airflow in my intake system while driving so I Took it out and purchased a cobb cast one instead.

Nice quality

Reason I give it a 4 is the issue of having an aftermarket boost control solenoid. The port just makes no sense for the size of my solenoid's fitting. It's clearly meant for a factory piece. But anyone who's putting on a turbo inlet most likely isn't running a factory solenoid. So after modifying the solenoid I made it work. But now it's only held on by the vacuum line so i have to fix that. Other than that it's pretty nice. Just not a fan of screw style hose clamps so I would spring for another clamp style mostly because of how tight everything gets in that area with an aftermarket charge pipe and an aftermarket bpv. Also be prepared to cut %66 of the inlet off if you have an aftermarket intake.

Better than stock turbo inlet

it was kinda hard to fit with my cobb intake. i had to make some adaptions but it works great. i dont have the boost leak anymore. the stock turbo inlet is made of plastic, very cheap

Good not great

Quality product! Knocking one star for this one small issue... Everything fit great except mating the oem airbox tube to the perrin. Ultimately had to use a razor knife to trim out the inner diameter of the perrin & a bunch of spray lube to get it slip over airbox tube

Perrin 3.0" Turbo Inlet Hose w/ Nozzle | 2015-2019 Subaru WRX

Install was pretty straight forward. Couldn't get provided hose clamp around one of the larger connections, but made it work with a different clamp I had around. I had to cut a decent portion of this to get my GS Intake to fit, but the directions cover that process pretty good. I also used the GS 3-port EBCS and fitment on the Inlet is less than ideal; but that is because of the mounting hardware on the EBCS (not the inlet). All and all, satisfied with my purchase.
