Mitsubishi Evolution X RS Race Exhaust System by GReddy

The GPP RS-Race for the 2008-15 Mitsubishi Evolution X is our most aggressive system for the turbocharged 4B11 and CZ4A chassis.

The RS-Race is ideally suited applications, which require less sound suppression and maximum flow (or customers who just want an aggressive sounding exhaust.) This light-weight, large diameter, full stainless-steel 80mm (3.14”) non-tapered, cat-back exits the (right) passenger-side and has no pre-resonator. Even with the cost-effective price point on the RS-Race, quality materials, construction and craftsmanship is not compromised.

For extra customization, the RS-Race Tri-bolt tip allows for installation of optional RS Tip Silencers, various tip lengths and styles in both stainless steel and genuine Titanium.

Yeah, thats a racing exhaust...

I bought this exhaust a week ago and it came in about 3 days, was pleasantly surprised at how fast it came on free shipping. When i opened the box i was greeted to a beauty of a catback. Excellent welds and just a good overall quality to it, especially in the price range. Got it installed 3 days ago and it was a simple bolt on. I already have a ets high flow cat on it so i was excited to hear it on this new system. Man was i not dissappointed, I know what i signed up for with this exhaust and man is it loud. But surprisingly not ricer loud. I let someone loop the block in it and when its in front of you it uppercuts you with the low rally like roar. But when it turned a corner and dissappeared, you dont really hear it that much anymore. In normal driving its loud with initial acceleration but calms to a intimidating hum when cruising, meaning if youre not constantly giving it the beans it doesnt really have much drone, especially with the windows up and music at normal volume. My evo had the sst trans so it has the different driving modes, in normal its tame, in sport it comes to life, it bangs, pops, crackles...when you accelerate its mean. Thats the best way to describe it. It doesnt bother me but i wouldnt reccomend transporting children in it, they more than likely wont like the drone. But its a race exhaust so thats kinda a duh moment. Overall it sounds amazing, gave me a lil bump in power and looks great. Glad i bought it, dunno if my neighbors agree though. Also i just want to add that i went from a srs catback to this system.

Sounds Meaty

The Greddy RS Race single exit is a no-compremise solution to a problem that exists with the Evo X's OEM CB.

That problem is the OEM's sound does not match the cars performance, thus does not provide any audible feedback to the driver at higher RPM's.

Do not fool yourself into thinking you can install this non-tapered CB and get away without tuning...it will lean your car out a full AFR point or more.

With a tune and correct installation, this thing brings joy in the sound department and also brings spool-up 500-800 RPM sooner.

My 14 MR equipped with the ETS HFC Testpipe, AEM Intake and Cobb EBS brings full boost at 3500 RPM and for a lower HP solution (330/330) that makes for a lot of fun on the track.

I do not recommend this CB to someone who doesn't like a loud, poppy and meaty sound and have neighbours that complain about 4am cold starts.

This is a purist CB, best suited for someone who wants the absolute best in sound and performance and doesn't live in an area that has a 96dB+ ban.
