70mm Drive-By-Wire Throttle Body by Grams Performance

The Grams Performance 70mm Drive-By-Wire (DBW) Throttle Body for 2.0L MX-5 Miata is the perfect upgrade for the restrictive 65mm factory unit!

The Grams throttle body is a Plug-n-Play direct OEM replacement that does NOT require swapping electric motors, wiring or mounting adapters. These units are not re-manufactured. Each throttle body includes all new components including a CNC machined billet 6061-T6 aluminum housing with a precision-honed oversized bore, a responsive high-torque servo motor, and a proprietary Non-Contact Hall Effect TPS sensor.

To ensure the best performance, throttle response and drive-ability, each TPS sensor is calibrated to meet the specific requirements of the vehicles engine management system. The Grams electronic throttle body is the perfect upgrade for both modified and stock engines with increased airflow demands.

Works great.

Install was easy. Instructions where well written. Very noticeable boost at the low end shifting from 1st to 3rd in low ram the engine doesn't bog down at all. My only complaint is the very high idle on a cold start. Even after following the instructions on programming it it still idles at 3k. An easy fix for me was to shift into gear and start the car and it doesn't go much higher than 2k rpm.
