Borla ATAK Series Cat-Back Exhaust | 2016-2017 Ford Focus RS (140730)

I ordered this on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday, FREE SHIPPING!!! you can't beat that. The exhaust is very high quality and was a perfect fit, i only had to do a 10 second adjustment to get the tips lined up perfectly. Now for the most important part, the sound and it sounds amazing on cold start up and idle. While cruising it has zero drone, as advertised but when you put your foot down it comes alive. The most fun part is rev matched down shifting, when it pops it sounds like a shotgun going off and makes this amazing gurgling sound.
To help others during install mine went like this. Started at the cat. end and put it on the hanger and tighten the collar just enough to hold it in place, then push the next section on and do the same with the collar, then the "over the axle" peice but I did not tighten this one at all because it goes on a hanger and stayed in place on it's own. Put the flapper valve onto the bracket of the outlet pipe (this was a pain in the ass but hold it in place and push a screw driver underneath and against the end of the little spring and move it into the grove of the dumby valve, then place the 3 bolts) install that to the muffler and place the whole section onto the 2 hangers and then into the "over the axle" pipe. I then went back though from the start and twisted and turned each section into until it was all perfectly inline with where the original exhaust was. Tighten down all sections except the muffler. Check rear tip alignment, push, pull until happy (10 seconds for me) then tighten muffler section and driver's side tip. Replace valve electrical plug and you're done. I got a warning about drive modes not working but it went away on the second start-up and hasn't come back. I hope this helps.

This was one of the best experiences I ever had with MAP & Borla. The product was ordered online and it arrived quickly within 3 to 4 days ! Excellent customer service and Adam at MAP was helpful and reliable! I had a performance shop install the exhaust and they had it done in less than an hour fully together and aligned perfectly (A vehicle lift always helps). The Performance factor is WOW as it definitely opens the exhaust up, it is loud but that is one of the reasons you get this exhaust and there is no drone at cruising speeds but push the pedal and it screams and pops like it's nobody's business, I haven't stopped thinking about it since install 😂 OH and not to mention that sweet Turbo sound ❗& beautiful sight under and from behind the vehicle ❗💯

When narrowing down my choices for an aftermarket exhaust I knew it had to be loud. My RS is garage kept and mostly an every other weekend car so I wanted the loudest, meanest yet cleanest sound without drone. I did weeks of research and watched videos but kept coming back to the Borla ATAK. Once I pulled the trigger MAP had the package at my door in a day and a half. The best place to purchase all your car needs. Now onto the sound, I couldn’t have been happier. I warn you it’s loud, like piss off your neighbors loud. Also I recommend having a dealership or shop install it because it’s can get tricky. I had issues with the spring in the value and removing all the factor hangers. I hate those hangers, OMG they are so hard to remove. But, I was able to install the whole system in less than 3 hours. I highly recommend the ATAK, it’s perfect for what I wanted. If you want the loudest exhaust for your RS you have no other choice, buy this system now and buy it here on MAP. I’m out.

From my first call getting someone friendly and professional on the phone doing business with them was a no brainer. I ordered this exhaust and it got to my house in literally 23 hours from the time I placed the order and I chose standard shipping!! The Borla Atak system is incredible the little pops turn into fireworks and you will have a smile glued to your face everytime it happens. Yes it is loud but that's why I got the Atak system, but i have to say when you cruise and let off the gas there really is no drone at all. But install was a little tricky I definitely recommend having a pro put it on for you as mine needed minor adjustments for fitment purposes. Overall borla and MAPerformace did an amazing job a very happy customer for years to come.

Great Exhaust system for my RS it makes that car sounds like a beast for sure love the sound of the ATAK great deep sound. Also great service all the way around and fast shipping. Will be doing more business with this company for sure.
