Once installed, the grille gives the front-end a good subtle look. The lower intercooler pipe peaking through. The price is a bit much for what it is and the install is a little time consuming. Removing bumper would have made it easier but I did it with it on. I removed the lower plastic cover and peeled back the fender liner with the wheel turned. The holes on the mesh part didn't exactly line up so with some pliers I had to carefully bend some of the mesh or spread the diamonds more open to line up holes. In the end, it was worth it to me, looks good and gives more airflow.
Great appearance, and functionality. Easy install too.
Nice and easy to install
If you are looking at this item you most likely have the GSR (5-speed manual) and want to get rid of the hideous plastic piece taking up the left grille fog light area. Takes a little time to get it installed,(need to remove the front bumper itself to access) but worth the effort to make everything look symmetrical on the front of the car!
No more plastic cover. Had to remove front bumper to install and it makes the Evo look complete in the front now on my 2015 FE
