This rotor is upgraded from OE straight vane to curved vanes as we deem necessary for performance, as most people are aware that curved vanes pump more air and keep disc cooler than straight vanes, however the curved vane discs are "directional" meaning left and right discs are different and requires two sets of tooling instead of just one set in the case of straight vanes. See complete list of rotors upgraded from straight vane to curved vane.

This patented design is added to improve the strength of the rotor based on our exclusive design criteria of "Torque Ratio". The result is that our rotors don't have the same problem of warping like OE which others copy, and the auto enthusiasts love our rotors because the replacements end with our better design for a stronger and cooler rotor (ribs also increase air circulation).

  • Material: Alloyed Gray Iron & Heat treated
  • Machining: Straight Slot
  • Surface: EDP Coating w/cross cut grinding on friction surface

great quality product

Just put these on. Ran the RB pads before. I think they actually feel even better paired with these rotors now. Now squealing, haven't put them through any real abuse yet though.

Jeff Jeske
Racing Brake Front Slotted Solid Rotors

My name is Jeff Jeske and I'm track addict. If you are looking at this your family probably thinks they need to give you and intervention from buying car parts. Well I have good news! I'm not your family! I've owned an EVO since they hit the lots stateside so I've gone through and tried alot of rotors. I've tried expensive big brake kits, two piece rotors and even cheap ebay tin. After 10 years of buying, using and replacing I find myself happiest with a high end solid rotor. Racing Brake puts out a quality part for a reasonable price. Make no mistake.... there is a difference between a product designed and tested by a dedicated brake company and one that simply fits on your car. Don't take short cuts on something that could save your ride or possibly even your life.
