ME3-HDSD kit features ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. ACT Performance street rigid-hub discs feature premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. Rivet design and materials are carefully selected for maximum strength. These discs are the minimum weight street disc for faster shifts. ACT's Street rigid-hub discs provide race-proven performance with street manageability. Monoloc is a one-piece, direct replacement or upgrade to the standard, two-piece wedge collar and wire ring featured in pull-type clutches. The spring tension of the segmented retaining ring is carefully calculated and tested for optimal performance. It provides uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate to assure proper alignment, regardless of driver influence or vehicle modifications. Monoloc's hardened chrome-moly steel construction will provide years of service.

Car came with a comp clutch from previous owner. Well that clutch was completely mulched after 10k miles so yeah. Trans job was... Interesting thanks MAP and Hollywood_x for the great how to write up. Just got back from 50 mile test drive. Haven't stuck the loud pedal down too far due to break in period but it feels solid. I'm happy. I paired it with an oem throughout bearing and an act street light flywheel. Definitely glad I got new axle seals and the tcase seal kit. My big seal was junk.

Driving experience is great. Definitely grabby in the beginning but you’ll get used to it. I stalled out a few times. Can’t wait for the break in period to be done. Paired this up with the AcT Prolite flywheel. Feel definitely worth if you tryna save money. Exedy can be expensive in the pockets.

I got this clutch kit after my EVOs oem clutch crapped out. Paired it with the street lite flywheel:
It seemed at first to be grabbing way too close to the floor causing everyone who tried to drive it to stall out easily. But, after a few miles I really like it, engages nice and you can tell the performance difference with it vs the sluggish oem clutch. Also super fast shipping from MAP
I think I've made a good choice, it grabs really well during break in, slightly stiffer than OE, and catch point is higher. After break in, the stiffness is alot closer to OE, and catch point is the same, and smoother shifts (than when breaking in). Great combo with ACT Streetslite Flywheel.
