2015-2021 Subaru WRX HP Plus Rear Brake Pads by Hawk Performance

The Hawk Performance HP Plus brake pad compound is ideal for Autocross and Track Day drivers looking for a high performance race compound that can take the heat of the track and get you home safely without having to change the pads. HP Plus utilizes a unique Ferro-Carbon, High-Tech friction material that was developed and manufactured for sport driving in autocross, Solo II, and track day applications. The Ferro-Carbon formulation offers lower wear rates and higher torque values than other competitive materials.

HP Plus is popular with enthusiasts that are looking for excellent street performance or wanting take their car auto-crossing or to a track day and not have to worry about changing pads. The HP Plus will provide a very noticeable increase in brake torque and temperature range when compared to OEM pads. Usually recommended to beginners who have very little to no track experience and are looking for an upgrade over stock.

Great Breaks for All

These are really good brakes, I have the old version of the HPS Brakes currently but purchased these as back ups for when I need brakes because why not. They have great on the track and off the track performance (coming from a new track day driver having about 16hrs of track time under my belt). On track they dust very little, they do get hot but only after giving them the beans on braking, will have to watch out for getting too hot as they will glaze over and you will have to fix that which results in squeaking after a long highway drive and only stopping very gently. Off track performance well they will do better than that mom in her suburban with her kid Kyle screaming after having a pounder of a monster energy and shes trying to calm him down while calling her husband whos out for business doing cocaine and getting into some weird bdsm underground gentleman's club and she cant connect to blue tooth and she runs that stop sign. Yea they work well.
