The PERRIN Performance 3" turbo inlet hose is specifically designed for turbo charger upgrades with 3" inlets. PERRIN Performance is your only option to avoid constructing your own intake system and is compatible with any replacement intake system which will work with the stock inlet hose.
The PERRIN inlet hose is perfectly smooth on the inside and has a significantly larger internal diameter than the OEM part. The increased air flow by removing the pleats found in the OEM hose makes more horsepower, decreases turbo spool time, and improves acceleration. The PERRIN inlet hose is reinforced with a stainless steel support wire that is embedded within the silicone layers. The support adds rigidity to the hose and prevents collapse when used with restrictive filter elements and large turbo applications running extreme amounts of boost.
The PERRIN inlet hose has a machined aluminum insert which is bonded into the layers of silicone, giving you a solid blow off valve hose connection and makes installation go even easier. All spigots on the PERRIN inlet hose are 1/2"ID for maximum flow from crank case vents and other vacuum connections. All connectors used on our hoses are glass reinforced nylon (rated to 400 degrees F) which will withstand engine bay temps found from normal driving to extreme racing conditions.

I've been running this for some time in blue on my car. it worked with my stock air cleaner set up with an ihi vf48 turbo. it's a great product, just be really carful with all the plastic 90s. I would recommend buying all new lines if your car is older. but all in all, a great, strong, and smooth product.

I've had this on my 04 wrx and having this on my sti makes me love it even more.
Takes a little work to install but worth it. The STI is prone to cracking on the stock inlet which can cause it to leak.
