2016-2022 Honda Civic MT Shifter Base Bushings by Acuity Instruments

The OEM base bushings on most Hondas and Acuras are made from highly compliant rubber. Thanks to leverage, the small amount of compliance the rubber adds equates to a very noticable "spongy" feeling in the shift knob during shifts. This bushing kit replaces the OEM rubber bushings with rigid 6061-T651 aluminum making for a much more decisive shift, even with a stock shifter. As an added touch, the bushings are coated in a purple Type 2 anodized finished, laser etched, and paired with class 12.9 flat-head mounting bolts

Features

  • Reduces compliance by replacing the OEM rubber bushings with solid aluminum
  • Includes (4) upper bushings, (4) lower bushings, and (4) class 12.9 M6 mounting bolts
  • Available in a stylish purple anodized finish
  • Laser etched Acuity logos

Please Note: ACUITY recommends pairing the 1918 Performance Shifter Centering Spring with the 1914 Shifter Base Bushings

Installed these along with the test of the shifter upgrades with the exception of the shifter bushings. The base bushings really lock down the shifter it's more stable and no longer moves around making shifting more accurate.

It’s a bushing

It’s a metal collar that helps keep the shifter box firm. Product dose as described and looks good
