9th Gen Civic Si Radiator Hose Upgrade by Acuity

The 9th Gen Civic Si's OEM radiator hoses are made from EPDM rubber. Unfortunately, in performance applications where coolant and under hood temperatures consistently higher than in normal driving conditions, EPDM degrades more quickly.

Silicone is able to withstand temperatures over 100F higher than EPDM for sustained periods without losing strength or pressure holding ability. The upper hose features a unique design that provides additional clearance for use with an RBC or similar intake manifold where the throttle body is relocated and can interfere with the OEM upper radiator hose. These hoses feature 5mm walls with 4-ply polyester reinforcement. Hoses are SAE20R4# compliant.

Features

  • Silicone construction withstands temperatures up to 100F higher than OEM hoses
  • Black exterior with ACUITY purple hose lining
  • Upper hose design provides extra clearance for use with OEM or RBC-style intake manifolds
  • Includes upper radiator hose, lower radiator hose, and (4) German-style hose clamps

  • 2012 - 2015 Honda Civic Si

Clean looking hose

I like the look of these hoses...they're so much better looking than the OEM hoses and are significantly smaller so it saves a lot of space in our already cramped engine bay. I've noticed about a 5-10 degree drop in ECT temps since the install..depending on how I'm driving. Definitely worth the money
