Auto-X Information

Test your driving skills at the Proving Grounds AutoX. Unlike any other auto-x event you've been to, this one you wont need to work or pickup cones. Simply show up and drive!

Event structure and coordination will be handled by CWSCC.

Classing for this event will follow standard SCCA rules. Please visit the SCCA page for more information.

Friday, September 5th: Registration: 9 AM – 4 PM (Shirt Shack) Tech: 10 AM – 7 PM Driver’s Meeting (Turn 9 / Under Bridge): 12:15 PM Testing (Stop watch timing): 1:00 PM – 3 PM Intermission: 3 PM – 3:30 PM Drivers Meeting (Turn 9 / Under Bridge): 3:30 PM Competition (Advanced timing): 4 PM – 7 PM

Saturday, September 6th: Registration: 8 AM – 3 PM (Shirt Shack) Tech: 1 PM – 5PM Driver’s Meeting 2:30 PM Course is Hot: 3 PM – 7 PM

No Pre-Registration required.

Cost is $25/per driver, per day. (Pay inside Registration Building)

AutoX Requirements: -Car must pass basic tech inspection -Valid Driver's License -DOT approved helmet

  • Street N/A (SNA) Any 4 cylinder naturally aspirated street car. Must have 140+ treadwear tires, headlights, taillights and interior (full OEM dash, heater, 2 seats, and carpet/ ).
  • Super Street (SS) Must be running STOCK turbo, STOCK cams, STOCK internals, STOCK injectors. Cars NOT eligible: C5 & C6 Corve tte, GTR, Viper, 911 GT2/3, Exige, or other exotics. Must have 140+ treadwear tires, headlights, taillights and interior (full OEM dash, heater, 2 seats, and carpet/ ).
  • Street Unlimited (SU) Tire Restrictions: 140+ Treadwear, DOT legal tire. Must have Interior – OEM Dash , heater , carpet, 2 -Front Seats , headlights and taillights.
  • Full – RACE Unlimited (U) Any modifications allowed , T ires are unrestricted.
Auto-X Trophies will be awarded to the fastest participants, make sure to familiarize yourself with the course on Friday! Cone violations will incur a 1 second penalty.
Tech Considerations A functional seat belt and helmet are required. Batteries must be secured (no zip ties, bungee cords, etc) and no loose articles are permitted within the vehicle. Drift participants will be required to utilize fluid retention devices (sweatbands are commonly used) and have a spare set of tires available unless the vehicle was trailered to the event. Cracked windshields will not be permitted.
