2005 Mitsubishi Evil Evo 8 Dyno Results! Starting the summer off right by visiting the MAPerformance Dyno Room!

This beautiful 05 Evo 8 has been dubbed Evil Evo by it's owner. Not because it's the fastest Evo 8 or because it keeps breaking, and it certainly isn't carrying a grudge. But after nearly 10 years on the road it's running as reliable today, as it was when it rolled off the assembly lne. While a decade of tire smoke and spooling turbo's make for a fun ride, reliability and longevity is an important aspect of building cars, especially high performance machines like this Evil Evo. While is doesn't have the longest mods list under the hood, each Evo 8 engine modification has been made with a specific goal in mind: to make the car more fun to drive, while keeping it reliable and easy to maintain. It's been executed to perfection with a simple, yet effective mods list: [caption id="attachment_9510" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Evil Evo 8 Click to view the larger dyno sheet for the Evil Evo 8![/caption] The Evil Evo 8 made 444whp and 409wtq on our DynoJet here at MAPerformance. Check out the quick spool of that HKS turbo and the increasing torque-band! This turbo just loves the E85 combo. We're glad Bryce decided to come visit us here at MAP to get his E85 tune hammered out before a long summer filled with car events, including MAP's Proving Grounds! We'll be on the lookout for Bryce this summer, and so should you!

Did you guys have any idle issues with the PTE 1000’s? I have the same injectors and the idle quality is horrible

FYI, Evos have never been assembled in Normal, Illinois.

FIC 1100’s, or ID1000’s for sure!

Thank you for the feed back! I’ll be sure to get the FIC’s like I was originally going to do.

Yeah, they’re terrible. But they are technology from the 80’s.
