Lancer Ralliart, Evo 8, and Subaru STi top this weeks Dyno Leaders!

Posted on 07 May 2014

We had lots of folks stop by over the last week looking for some dyno pulls. Among turbocharged Honda's, Evo's, WRX's, and Ralliarts, these three vehicles top the list as most impressive!

We're always interested to see what pulls into our dyno room, each new car as intriguing as the last. Whether it be a Turbocharged B15A7 or an all motor K20A2 swapped Hatchback, a Lancer Ralliart or a heavily modified Evo 8, we can't wait to see what intricate differences matter most through dyno tests. Alas, here are our dyno leaders for this week!

Let's start with the most suprising car we had on the dyno this week. Adam J's 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart has a few bolt-on mods, which have made it more responsive and much more fun to drive. He came in for an AMS boost pill installation and decided to hop on the dyno for a quick three pull test before he headed home. Despite the fuel leaning out in the upper RPM's because of a weak fuel pump, he made some nice numbers. His mods list is: 2009 Ralliart Adam JUp next, we've got Elliot S's 2011 Subaru STi which made the most power out of all the WRX / STi's we Dyno'd. This 3rd gen Impreza WRX STi has a few bolt-on's, nothing substantial that stick out more than the other. But each mod is done with power and torque in mind. It's fuel upgrades prevent issues like what happened with the Ralliart. It's mod's list is: [caption id="attachment_9422" align="alignnone" width="638"]2011 STi Elliot S 2011 Impreza WRX makes 329whp/382wtq on Dyno.[/caption] Last up for this week's dyno leaders is Chris B's beautiful 2004 Evo 8 which made the most power out of all cars that hit the rollers this week. This mods list is HUGE, with quite a few parts sourced from MAPerformance including our MAP 2.3L stroker kit and our EF2.5 anti-surge Turbocharger. Check out these mods! Keep an eye on the blog for more results in the future. We'll soon have video content of all vehicles so you can hear and see these cars on the rollers. Stay tuned, you wont want to miss any of them!
