The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is one of the most distinguished sports car racing events in the United States. The track measures just over 12 miles featuring 156 turns, climbing 4,720 ft from the start at Mile 7 on Pikes Peak Highway to the finish at 14,110 ft, on grades averaging 7 percent.
Take a look at this documentary highlighting the Vancouver Canada Motorsport Club's journey through the Pikes Peak event.
The VCMC FR-S packs a Turbocharged 350hp motor, stock bottom end, running 9psi boost. The interior is gutted, so the car weighs in at around 2400lbs. The highly modified suspension includes KW Coilovers, polyurethane bushings, and 17x9x245 wheels wrapped in Toyo tires. This FR-S is well built and has been featured on many different tuner and FR-S sites around the web.
