The extremely successful line of high-flow CEA® turbine wheels has been expanded to include an 85mm size wheel.

 PRECISION TURBO AND ENGINE has announced the addition of a new 85mm size to its extremely successful line of high-flow CEA® (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) turbine wheels.

Specifically engineered to produce massive power gains, usage of Precision’s new 85mm CEA® wheel can result an average increase of 45-60 horsepower when compared to the older, standard design 85mm wheel. Furthermore, spool-up time is improved when using PTE’s CEA® turbine wheels to further reduce turbo lag.

Precision’s current 85mm turbine wheels will be phased out and replaced by the new 85mm CEA® version. Utilizing an enhanced design, the new high-flow CEA® turbine wheels will come standard on all of Precision’s 85mm turbochargers that also feature the exclusive CEA® compressor wheels, both ball-bearing and journal bearing versions, including the 7685 and 8285 units.

Additionally, all current turbine housing offerings will be available with the new CEA® turbine wheels.

Similar in concept to PTE’s CEA® compressor wheels which are machined from a 2618-aluminum forging for added strength, higher efficiency, faster transient response and maximum performance, Precision’s CEA® turbine wheels offer unparalleled performance and the best “bang for your buck”.
