AP Racing Brake Pads- A System for North American Racers and Track Day Enthusiasts

Many of our customers use their car for both the street and the track.  A common complaint we hear is that when they swap between their street and track pads, they run into a host of problems such as vibration, judder, uneven pad depositions, etc.  Many times their street and track pads are not made by the same manufacturer, and were constructed with vastly different materials.  Those differing materials frequently don't work particularly well when they come in contact with each other at the disc face.

Gathering the aggregate knowledge of AP Racing we've embarked on a joint venture to produce a unique new brake pad system for dual-purpose vehicles.  Our goal with the AP Racing Brake Pad system was to create complementary street and track pads built from the same core materials.  By doing so, we allow for a superior interaction of the pad materials at the disc face, alleviating some of the issues described above.  We wanted a street pad that allowed our customers to have fun with them, while still remaining livable on a daily basis.  To complement those pads, we are offering one of the absolute top endurance pads on the market.  Drivers can switch between them at leisure, and be confident that they will always have optimum performance on the road or track.

AP C300 Endurance

The track side of the AP Racing Brake Pad System, the C300 compound was designed as an edurance solution for anything up to and including the heaviest, fastest cars on the track.  It is capable of standing up to every abuse the top drivers throw at it, and has enough bite, temperature threshold, and longevity for just about any road racing series.  These pads are designed with stability in mind, and their performance remains extremely consistent as laps are clicked off. The C300 is derived from the same core materials as AP's S100 Street Sport compound, so the two are perfect complements for the road and track.  Drivers should not expect any compatibility issues between these two compounds when swapping their brakes between street and track configurations.  That means fewer pad deposits, less judder, vibration, NVH, and trashed rotors. Applications: Endurance Sportscar, Sprint Sportscar, Short Track (asphalt and dirt), Rally, Hill Climb, Time Attack/Time Trial, HPDE Not intended for street use.

AP S100 Street Sport

The street side of the AP Racing Brake Pad System, the S100 is a great compound for aggressive street driving, canyon carving, and AutoX.  It was designed for our track day customers who want a quality street pad to run between events on their dual-purpose car.  The S100 provides a relatively quiet and comfortable drive on the street, while still retaining the sporting characteristics and heat capacity for the occasional spirited drive.  The AP S100 is derived from the same core materials as AP's C300 Endurance compound, so the two are perfect complements for the street and track.  Drivers should not expect any compatibility issues between these two compounds when swapping their brakes between street and track configurations.  That means fewer pad deposits, less judder, vibration, NVH, and trashed rotors. Applications: Daily Driving, Canyon/Mountain Runs, AutoX Not intended for track use!
