Three Speed Scatter Shield

Three Speed makes this piece and it could definitely save your car and even the passengers in the event of a "scattering" of the transmission bell housing, usually from a un-properly lightened stock flywheel. This piece includes slightly longer bolts made of the highest grade available so that it bolts right in and neatly shields down the bell housing. In all honestly, bell housing scatter shields are required in all major forms of racing in the pro ranks! Some folks argue that these pieces weigh to much, well yes you are adding weight to the car, but only 7.7 POUNDS that could save your race block! If you don't think so, pick up the rule books from some major racing organizations - NHRA, IHRA, IDRC and SCCA, and check for yourself. Better to be safe than sorry!
