SPEC-R Sport Springs by Swift

Swift made Sport Springs keeps the quality ride you get from the showroom, and adds improved handling and lower ride height for driving enthusiasts and style minded drivers who demand only the best.

From HPDE events to SCCA competition, Swift Spec-R Sport Springs are made for the track enthusiast looking to take their vehicle to the next level.

Swift Spec-R Sport Springs were engineered with 3 characteristics in mind.
Modified ride height compared to Sport Springs to maximize optimal suspension geometry. Further increasing the spring rate to enhance overall performance. The increase in spring rate is based on the upper limits of the vehicles factory shock valving. Maintaining optimal comfort level for street use.

Spec R springs are wound with the same engineering and material as our sports springs. With the exception of stiffer rates and slight change in ride height; you can expect the same characteristics as our sports springs.

Love them!

So I bought these springs back in November and I really wanted to drive on them for months before posting a review. To start, I love the 1inch drop on the car. It isn't too low but it takes care of the wheel gap. They handle nicely as well. Like a lot of others have already said, they make the ride bouncy, especially on rougher roads. Overall the install was not too hard and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I believe this is the best suspension set up if you are on a budget!

Awesome Springs

They were easy enough to install specially for DIY person like me. Took me and a friend about 3 hours. I recommend having a impact and pass through wrench to make your job easier. Didn’t have a pass through wrench, but was able to make a make shift one with a socket and vise grip. May not have needed spring clamps, but used them anyway just to be on the safe side. Rented a pair from O’Reillys for $60 which I got back if returned within 48 hours. I think ride height is perfect. Not too low, but still noticeable. Once I get 18s, they should be sitting flush depending on the width I go with. Ride is a bit stiffer than OEM, but at the same time feels more comfortable. Noticeable improvement in cornering. Overall great set of springs.

Great product

Put these on my son 20’ Subaru WRX. They were perfect fit and the car looks and handles great. Pay attention the the top hat position or you will have to take it apart again 😁. Definitely worth the money.

Better than the Eibach Pro Kit on the 2015+ WRX

I had the Eibach kit on my 2018 WRX and this Swift Spec R kit on my 2019. The Eibach kit seemed to never settle in the front and always looked to me like it had a reverse rake to it. This kit does not look that way to me. I am into the OEM plus look and The drop is perfect for a subtle, but sporty Daily driven car. No clunks or install issues, and the car feels tight, and the suspension is comparable to stock, maybe even a bit more comfortable than stock. Not bouncy at all but not stiff when driving normally. You can tell a difference and have more confidence in heavy cornering with the progressive spring rates. Overall very happy so far with about 1k miles on them. The Eibach pro kit seemed to be a bit too soft and the factory struts started to seep after about 20K miles. Time will tell how the stock struts hold up with the Swifts on.
