2.5" Lower Intercooler Pipe

This MAP lower intercooler pipe features one piece mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing (Made in the USA) that has been bead rolled and routed with optimal flow characteristics in mind. This kit includes a 2.5" to 1.75" reducing elbow that yields the smoothest possible transition from the turbo outlet and matching T-bolt clamps so that you have everything needed for installation.

Ceramic Coating: Our advanced ceramic coating option helps control heat soak. The piece is coated in a thermal barrier (available in black only) that looks great and protect wires and hoses from heat. Please note the coating may need some extra "curing" to prevent flaking after installation. Please allow the part to heat up during normal driving or idling and then completely cool before putting it through it's paces.

Nice upgrade

Decided to try out the MAP LICP and I cannot look back. The piping is huge compared to the restrictive stock licp. The installaion took some time because of the supplied T-Clamp. I had to use regular copplers. I highly recommend this great product.

Evo 8 MAP LICP

Purchased LICP to replace a damaged Injen pipe. The MAP LICP is much better quality and looks great, wish I would've swapped out sooner. As mentioned in another comment, the J-pipe clamp is very difficult to install, but this was the only "issue" ran into during installation. Another reviewer stated that the under tray cannot be used with this pipe, and I'm glad to report that I was able to use my OEM undertray with this LICP. You will have to play with the angle when installing, it's a tight fit, but the OEM under tray is definitely usable. Another unexpected plus is the car actually sounds different under and off boost (no, not a boost leak...) and I think it sounds great. Very happy with the product, great budget LICP if you are in the market.
