Finally, something for you 2G guys! Similar to our 1G intake manifold, but designed around the 2G head for maximum HP gains. If it's horsepower your looking for, this is the manifold for you. Introducing our new 2G aluminum sheetmetal intake manifold. These are hand made, TIG welded from high quality 6061 T6 aluminum. The flanges are all CNC machined and surfaced for precise fitment and a leak free seal. Each plenum is press bent to reduce the number of welds which will assure maximum strength under high boost applications. The plenum measures 16" long, 4 1/4" deep, the plenum also features a 2" taper design to even out the airflow, with a runner length of 5". Velocity stacks are CNC machined into each plenum bottom to improve airflow by 10-15%. The vacuum ports are placed on the underside of the plenum for a clean professional look. They are available unpolished or with a mirror like polish. Included are 4 new 8mmx1.25mm 70mm bolts for the stock throttle body. Expected gains can anywhere from 10-30 HP depending upon your setup!

We HIGHLY recommend using at least a 1G throttle body when running this manifold ('91-'94, dont mess with the '90), after all, whats the point of having a high flowing intake manifold, if your not going to use a throttle body to match it! These manifolds are designed for DSM's with eliminated EGR. Some modifications to your coil pack mounts, and upper intercooler pipes may be needed, as this manifold sits down a lot lower then stock. A slimmer battery is also recommended so that your upper IC pipe won't have to make such a tight bend. On several of our customer cars, we have used an Everstart battery model 51-4, it can be purchased at Walmart for around $40. This battery is a lot slimmer then stock, yet still has enough CCA to start your car in the coldest of weather. If using the Accufab and other aftermarket throttle bodies, please note that the throttle cable and TPS sensors may need modifying.

If you are still running the MAP sensor, for an additional cost a mount will be welded in the bottom of the plenum between runners #4 and #3, it will be threaded so all you have to do is unbolt the MAP sensor from the stock intake manifold, and transfer it over to the new intake. Don't forget to replace your gaskets!
