HKS R-Type FMIC Kit (Subaru STi 2008+)

This HKS FMIC kit for the 2008+ Subaru STi features a large capacity, low pressure loss R-Type core and large diameter piping with a short layout to allow for quicker boost response. The end tanks are optimized to maximize cooling efficiency of the core, and the front mount layout allows for a cooler engine compartment.

Kit Includes

• R-Type core (600mm x 255.6mm x 103mm vs. Stock size of 170mm x 525mm x 65mm) with polished side tanks
• 3 piece inlet pipe (polished aluminum)
• 3 piece outlet pipe (polished aluminum)
• silicone hoses
• brackets and other supporting hardware

Installation Notes

• Requires front bumper modifications
• Requires small B19L battery
• Stock recirculation/bypass cannot be used (upper intercooler pipe includes flange for HKS Universal SQV)
• Requires Racing Suction Reloaded intake kit
• Installation time estimated at 5-6 hours
