Front mounted intercoolers offer improved performance potential for Subaru applications. The Cosworth front mount intercooler for the 2008+ Subaru STI replaces the restrictive, heat-soak prone original top mounted core. The engineered system features an efficient large aluminum core with mandrel bent aluminum tubing for maximum performance up to and exceeding 600hp.
The intercooler core is rubber mounted on a secure bracket system to help eliminate cracking and breakage. Installation is simplified as no cutting of vehicle is required.
