Ceramic Coating
Are you looking for the best thermal management from your pistons? If so you need advanced ceramic coatings to help protect your pistons! First we apply a dry film lubricant coating to the piston skirts that will help reduce power robbing friction and maintain oil films better than an uncoated skirt (resists galling), we then apply a thermal barrier coating on the piston tops to minimize any hot spots, and to reflect more of the combustion energy into the exhaust stream instead of into the piston. When combined with an oil shedding thermal dispersant coating we put on the underside of the piston, you will have a piston that can run cooler, and last longer than an uncoated version.
Your wrist pins will also get dry film lubrication applied to minimize friction and enhance the way the pin retains oil.
